Dear Parents of Mable Barron Students:

I am going to start writing a letter on our website from time to time.We are trying to up-date our school website and provide you with current information. Just to remind you: School begins at 8:15. Our warning bell rings at 8:13.School ends at 1:30 on Mondays and 2:30 Tuesdays through Fridays. We ask that parents not drive into the front driveway, especially after school. That is reserved for school buses and daycare vans.

We have four lunch periods each day.

• Grades 3 and 4 go to lunch at 11:15
• Grades 5 and 6 go to lunch at 11:35
• Grades 1 and 2 go to lunch at 11:55
• Grades 7 and 8 go to lunch at 12:15
  
  All students who have not received a letter indicating they are approved for free meals for the current school year and wish to participate in the free and reduced price meals must submit a new application for the current school year. Applications are available in our office. Remember…if you qualify for a free or reduced-price lunch you also qualify for a free or reduced price breakfast at school. Breakfast is served at Mable Barron from 7:45 to 8:10. We hope you are having a successful year so far at school.If you have a question, you may e-mail me at ewehrs@lusd.net.
